| What to expect in the upcoming Community Writing Workshop As Autumn arrives, the first Community Writing workshop topic is, “Making Meaning in Later Adulthood.” This workshop invites participants aged 50+ into a brave space for exploring and evaluating one’s life. I facilitate establishing community agreements, group check-ins, and open-ended writing prompts. We engage in individual free writing, small group sharing, listening, large group closing reflections and integration, plus additional resources. The workshop is not about producing polished work—it is about self-discovery. Through writing activities, participants will be supported to: Accept and embrace life’s imperfection Consider their achievements and regrets Come to terms with choices made along the way Find peace with one’s story Cultivate a sense of meaning and purpose in later adulthood |
